Finding the Confidence to Try New Styles of Clothing

Finding the Confidence to Try New Styles of Clothing

Let's say you're shopping at your favorite Plus Size boutique and you see a cute new dress. The dress is your favorite color but it is a little bit shorter or more revealing than your everyday t-shirt and jeans. You and your man have a special anniversary coming up and you want to go out and look nice but it's been so long because of the pandemic, you just don't have the same confidence you used to. I'm hear to tell you my friend that this is something lots of women around the world are experiencing. You are not alone. Get that dress or that skirt and enjoy your night out!

I mean what could hurt, right? It never really hurts to try new things and you never know, you might like how you look! Pick a particular outfit that you wouldn't normally wear and go out for a night on the town. You might be surprised of the response you get once you step out of your comfort zone.

If you are too anxious to go out in a new outfit, find some good lighting and take some photos of yourself! Post them online to your social media or just send them to your friends and loved ones. Style your new look with popping accessories like earrings, a necklace, bracelets, handbags or even a belt. Style your look YOUR way. That's the beauty of fashion!

There are many ways to add pieces together that work for you. Some great examples of these include: belts, cardigans, scarves, wraps, leggings, stockings, bodysuits just to name a few.

Whether it be a halter top, layered dress, do you, girl! Explore items of clothing that excite you and make you feel good about yourself. Lots of people don't realize that how you dress has a large effect on how you feel and view yourself.
